This module is designed for publishing news of your partners from other websites in a particular block of your website. Going into Administration Panel to add a new widget you set the following parameter:

 

Name of RSS informer - Here you specify the name of the informer. The name can be unique and may be the same as the other informer's. If the name is the same then the informers are displayed in rotation mode.

 

Description of RSS informer - a brief description of this informer for you.

 

Category - you can specify the category where this informer should be shown, or make it available in all categories.

 

URL of RSS informer - Here you specify the path to RSS source from which to take the news.

 

Template of RSS informer - Select a template which will used to display formatted data in this block. For example: informer.tpl

 

Number of news in a block - Specify the number of news to display in this block.

 

Number of symbols in a title - Specify the maximum number of characters in the title. When exceeding this limit, title will be automatically cut off. You can set 0, then the title will be imported as a whole.

 

Number of symbols in an article - Specify the maximum number of characters in the article. When exceeding this limit, article will be automatically cut off. You can set 0, then the article will be imported as a whole.
